Update June 4: Santee's lottery winnery has come forward to claim winnings, but asked not to be publicly identified.

June 3, 2010 (Sacramento)—If you bought a California Lottery ticket in Santee recently, you might be the lucky winner of a $23 million jackpot. A ticket sold at Vons Grocery at 9643 Mission Gorge Road matched all six numbers in last night’s SuperLotto Plus. The winning numbers are 8, 7, 15, 11, 31 and the Mega number is 27.

The retailer who sold the jackpot ticket, Vons Grocery, will receive a bonus of one-half percent, or $115,000, for selling the jackpot winning ticket. Jackpot winners have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim the jackpot prize. The estimated cash option amount for this ticket is $14 million.

This is the fifth SuperLotto Plus jackpot hit this year. The last SuperLotto Plus Jackpot was hit in Barstow. That ticket is worth $12 million and remains unclaimed.

If you are the winner, the Lottery wants to remind you to sign your ticket, put it in a safe place and contact Lottery officials or visit your local Lottery District Office as soon as possible.

The California Lottery is celebrating 25 years of enhancing education and supporting local communities. The Lottery contributes at least 87 cents of every dollar that players spend on Lottery products to public education and prizes. Since the Lottery’s inception in 1985, Lottery players have contributed nearly $22 billion to California schools out of total sales of more than $59 billion. Retailers benefit too, earning $3.8 billion in compensation since 1985.
