BODY FOUND IN BURNED SPRING VALLEY HOME

January 7, 2023 (Spring Valley) -- A body was found early this morning after a house fire in the 8600 block of Eileen Street in Spring Valley.  No details have been released on the deceased person.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s department received a call from a neighbor reporting the house on fire. Deputies from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station and firefighters from San Miguel Fire & Rescue responded and arrived in less than five minutes. 

“They found the back of the home fully engulfed in flames.While putting out the fire, one deceased person was found inside the home,” says Detective Dan Wilson with the Sheriff’s Bomb/Arson unit, which is investigating the fire.

The Sheriff's Bomb/Arson Unit investigates fires involving serious injuries, death, or suspicious circumstances.
