POLICE SEEK HIT AND RUN DRIVER WHO INJURED CYCLIST

October 15, 2010 (Rancho Bernardo) – San Diego Police seek a motorist who struck a bicyclist yesterday afternoon. The man was riding his bicycle in the bike lane on Pomerado Road near Caminito Vecinos when he was struck from behind by a car that fled the scene.

 

The victim sustained abrasions, bruises, and a slight fracture to his veterbrae. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. According to San Diego Police, the victim had been drinking and did not give information to police. There is no suspect descrption; the driver if found could face felony hit-and-run charges.
