BAGEL CUSTOMERS ROBBED AT KNIFEPOINT AS THIEVES FLEE WITH THE DOUGH

November 2, 2010 (Lake Murray) – In a brazen day-time robbery, two thieves held up the Einstein Bagel shop at 8736 Lake Murray Blvd. yesterday afternoon at 1:55 p.m., then forced customers onto the floor and robbed them at knifepoint.

 

According to Officer J. Jacobsen with the San Diego Police, two men brought a male victim into the shop from an outside patio and forced him onto the floor. One of the suspects forced the manager to open the cash register.. Customers were then ordered onto the floor and robbed by the two men, who were both armed with knives.

 

The suspects fled on foot westbound. One suspect is described as a Hispanic man age 20-30, 5 feet 9 inches, , 230 lbs., with slicked back hair, wearing a dark blue or black hoodie and blue jeans. The second suspect was a white male, 20-30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches, 180 pounds, with a shaved head and long goatee, wearing a blue hoodie and blue jeans.
