OMA’S PUMPKIN PATCH IN LAKESIDE HAS HAYRIDES, MAZE AND MORE

October 1, 2018 (Lakeside) – Now in its 19th year, Oma’s Pumpkin Patch at the Van Ommering Dairy in Lakeside is open for the season now through October 31st .  You can visit Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Activities include playground equipment with swings, Cottonseed Mountain for kids to climb and slide down, a sand pile with toy trucks and tractors, covered hay rides around the farm, hay bale maze, petting corral, pedal cart/tricycle race track, kid-powered games, and a pumpkin patch with pumpkins ranging from tiny to over 100 pounds.

Also available for purchase are Indian corn, corn stalks, gourds, hay bales, honey, crafts, souvenirs and seasonal items. There’s also a Cow Country Café snack barn.

Admission for kids 13 and under ($12) includes a Jack Patch puampkin, water bottle and participation in all activities. (Adult admission is $5.)
