September 2, 2011 (Lakeside)-- Lakeside's River Park Conservancy will unveil a new trail as it celebrates its 10th anniversary at the Once in a Blue Moon Gala, including dinner plus live and silent auctions at twilight along the banks of the San Diego River on Saturday, September 10th.

“With much wine and beer flowing during cocktail hour guests will enjoy the serenity of the San Diego River. The event will highlight the Lakeside River Park Conservancy’s accomplishments over the past decade, as well as provide sneak previews of the future including plans for trail extensions, land restoration, new land ownerships and expansion on River Park outreach and River Park programs.

Festivities begin with cocktails and a silent auction at 5 p.m., followed by dinner and a live auction at 7 p.m. Cost is $65 per person or $120 per couple. VIP tables are available for $540, including two bottles of wine, preferred seating, and special anniversary gift.
