May 5, 2017 (El Cajon) - One man is dead and two others injured from a deadly head-on collision in El Cajon.
The accident happened before 4:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Avocado Ave. near Skywood Drive involving a Mazda and a pickup truck.
The driver of the Mazda, David William Sarabia Lopez, 29, died at the scene of blunt force injuries. The drivers of both vehicles were reported to have moderate injuries, but are expected to survive.
Avocado Ave. between Chase Ave. and Fuerte Drive is expected to be shut down until noon today.
