May 10, 2016 (San Diego’s East County) - Pacifiers made by Munchkin Inc., a California based company, have been recalled because clips can detach, posting choking hazards to babies.

Ten cases have been reported, though no injuries occurred. The Munchkin pacifiers were sold nationwide, including at major retail stores such as Target, Wal-Mart, and Babies-R-Us, as well as online through Amazon.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission urges parents and caregivers to take the pacifiers away from babies. Munchkin will send you a replacement pack with two pacifiers or give you a full refund.

For more information you can call Munchkin at 877-242-3134 or visit the company’s website at www.munchkin.com.
