August 20, 2019 (San Carlos) -- The next Second Sunday Community Concert on September 8th will be the Peter Pupping Band.  The band is composed of  Peter Pupping and William Wilson on guitar, Jeff Basile on upright bass, and Roy Gonzales on percussion.

After fifteen years of performing solo Peter teamed up with William Wilson for a "one time event". an evening of classical, Spanish, and flamenco guitar.  The event went well and soon Jeff Basile was added on upright bass and Roy Gonzales on percussion.  The new group specialized in Latin music, but soon began to play in many other musical styles.

Through the years the group has played in most major resorts, convention and popular wedding spots including the Four Seasons, the Hotel Del Coronado, Rancho Valencia, L'Auberge, the Hyatt Regency, the Marriott and Loews Coronado Resorts to name a few.  They have played for many American corporations at their corporate events.  They have entertained well known statesmen such as Mikhail Gorbachev, and entertainers like the Beach Boys, Pat Benetar, and the Beatles arranger, George Martin.

The quartet is very versatile and has a very eclectic repertoire spanning the centuries of classic art music, world music, jazz and pop styles.  Join us on September 8th from 3 - 4 PM for an entertaining hour of music by the Peter Pupping Band.

The Mission Trails Church is located at 4880 Zion Avenue,  San Diego,  CA  92120.
