December 3, 2017 (San Diego’s East County) – A super moon, also known as the "cold moon" was shining very bright early last evening on the 2nd of December, and I was lucky enough to get some photos before the fog obscured it from view.

A super moon occurs when a full moon coincides with the closest point in the moon’s elliptical orbit around the earth.

If you missed it, don’t worry, there will be many more in the years to come.
