POLICE ARREST HOMELESS MAN WHO ASSAULTED WOMEN IN EL CAJON

August 22, 2023 (El Cajon) -- El Cajon Police have arrested a homeless man who is charged with several felony counts, including kidnapping with intent to commit rape and burglary.

 
On the evening of August 19th, officers responded to 9-1-1 calls reporting attempted break-ins at homes in the 800 block of Elizabeth Way. The suspect, 30-year-old Domonick Medlock of San Francisco, fled from officers but was caught and detained.
 
Officers found three different female victims who all reported similar encounters. They told police that the suspect grabbed them and tried to force his way into their homes, punching one woman in the neck.
 
He then entered a fourth residence, where a father was home with his children.The father defended his children and chased the suspect off with a wooden rod, says Lieutenant MacArthur.
