March 24, 2018 (El Cajon) – The Princess Project will be giving away over 1,500 prom dresses to high school teens across San Diego County at events in April. In East County, the El Cajon Library will host a prom dress giveaway event on April 28th.

Other locations include the Horton Plaza Mall in downtown San Diego April 6, 7, 8, 11, 13, 14, 18, 20 and 21, the South Chula Vista Library April 14, 17 and 19 and the Vista Library on April 21.

To receive a dress, teens must be enrolled in high school and have a valid ID card.  Girls must book an appointment ahead of time at www.princessprojectSD.org. Teens may bring along one female guest to help shop.

The Princess Project promotes self-confidence and individual beauty by providing free prom dresses and accessories to high school girls who cannot otherwise afford them. The effort is made possible by volunteers, donors and community support.
