PROWLER STARTLES RESIDENT, FLEES SCENE IN LA MESA

October 18, 2011 (La Mesa)—La Mesa Police responded to call yesterday at 2:41 from a resident in the 9800 block of Lakeview Drive. The resident told police he saw a man enter his home through the front door, which the suspect had been broken.

 

Upon realizing someone was home, the suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect, who is described as a Hispanic man in his late 30s to 40s, tall with thinning hair. He wore a plain grey T-shirt and faded jeans.

 

There was no loss and no injuries during the attempted burglary.
