July 3, 2015 (Ramona) – On June 29, we reported that this could be the last year for the Ramona fireworks show, since the Ramona Rotary Club had fallen short of raising the enormous funds needed for the display.  Fortunately, the Club has now reached its fundraising goal, the Ramona Home Journal reports in an e-mail sent to its readers.

The Rotary Club told the Journal that it looks forward to bringing the show back to the community again next year.  The Club expressed thanks to community donors who helped meet the goal five days before the Independence Day celebration set for July 4th including fireworks synchronized to music at the Ramona High School football field at 9 p.m.

Earlier family-fun festivities will take place at Olive Peirce Middle School  at 1521 Hanson Ln, Ramona, starting at 5:30 p.m.
