March 19, 2010 (Ramona) – From country music to rock and roll, from barbershop to Americana, you’ll find music to suit your fancy at the Ramona Music Fest this Saturday, March 20 from 2 to 6 p.m. Cactus Twang and White headline this year’s event, featuring Cactus Jim Soldi, former guitarist for Johnny Cash.

Other performers include Ted Lennon, a member of John Lennon’s family, the Aja Alycean Band starring 13-year-old Aja, the Rumblers, the Amalgamateds, and the Ramona Townhall Brass Band.


The afternoon of sun, fun and music takes place at the bandstand in Dos Picos Park, off Highway 67 in Ramona The event includes a beer and wine garden, art show, Ramona showcase, tri-tip barbecue, kids' play area, family games, live and silent auctions, and more.


The event is presented by the Ramona Rotary and Kiwanis clubs as a fundraiser for scholarships and Ramona community projects.
