RAMONA MUSIC FESTIVAL EXPANDS TO SIX TOE-TAPPING HOURS APRIL 9

April 2, 2011 (Ramona) – This year, The Ramona Music Fest IV benefit concert will be 50 percent longer than in the past – a full six hours on April 9 from noon to 6 p.m. at Dos Picos County Park, 17953 Dos Picos Park Rd. in Ramona.

 

The nonprofit event, hosted by Ramona Kiwanis and Ramona Rotary clubs, will feature top local and San Diego-area performers plus emerging talent on two stages.

 

The three main headliners are Cactus Twang & Whyte (folk/retro rock), Aja Alycean (country/pop), and Gilbert Castellanos and the New Latin Jazz Quintet. In total, around 10 bands and solo performers will showcase rock, country, reggae, and a full brass band. Auctions, children's activities, food, beverages, wine and beer are also available, along with a reverse raffle that includes a 50-inch plasma TV as the top prize.

Admission for adults is $20 through March 25 or $25 at the gate; $10 for ages 10 to 16; and children 9 and under, free.
