RAMP AND LANE CLOSURES ON SOUTHBOUND INTERSTATE 15 TUESDAY NIGHT

March 7, 2017 (San Diego) - The following closures will occur along southbound Interstate 15 (I-15) Tuesday night to allow construction crews to grind and replace pavement:

  • Two southbound lanes of I-15 will also be closed from south of SR-52 to Murphy Canyon Road—closed tonight and Tuesday night beginning at 7 and reopening the following morning at 5
  • Southbound I-15 Balboa Avenue on- and off-ramps and the southbound I-15 Murphy Canyon Road on-ramp–Closed tonight at 7 and reopening Tuesday morning at 5.
  • Southbound  I-15 Aero Drive on-ramp and the on-ramp to southbound I-15 just north of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard will be closed—Closed Tuesday from 7 p.m. until Wednesday at 5 a.m.  The southbound I-15 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard on- and off-ramps and Aero Drive off-ramp will remain open.

The work will be noisy at times, especially during the grinding operations.

Motorists are reminded to slow down when driving near the construction and to move over a lane to provide a buffer for workers when it is safe to do so.
