Dear San Diego County Board of Supervisors,

December 20, 2011 (San Diego County) -- I am the Director of the national nonprofit, Center for Electrosmog Prevention, headquartered in La Mesa, CA. I add my urgent, repeated request for the SD County BOS to investigate and respond to the calamity befalling our county called "smart meters", courtesy of San Diego Gas and Electric, a company that I heard Supervisor Diane Jacobs criticize severely for other reasons, in front of a large audience at the El Cajon CPUC Rate Increase meeting in October. SDG&E have been caught repeatedly lying about smart meter complaints, minimizing these and covering them up.

Watch caring Santa Cruz County BOS in action about the smart meter issue. It will take twenty minutes but is well worth your time: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yIGqz_2uGTs&feature=youtu.be. Read about my experience, and view 18 articles on this topic written by me since August, 2011,  that have been published in the La Mesa Patch, attached.

Living Nightmare: How SDG&E Smart Meter Led to Headaches, Hearing Loss
http://lamesa.patch.com/blog_posts/living-nightmare-how-sdge-smart-meters-led-to-my-headaches-sleeping-ills-hearing-loss ,and this article, showing evidence why these ill effects, common with radiation poisoning, are found: Revealed: SDG&E Smart Meter Technical Data and Bio-Effects http://lamesa.patch.com/blog_posts/revealed-sdge-smart-meter-technical-data-and-bio-effects-of-microwave-radiation 47 municipalities, including over 10 CA counties, have taken a strong position against smart meters. It is time that the SD County BOS does the same, and stands up for public health, privacy, and security.
I am placing our membership on copy and encourage them to contact all of you to reiterate this request and share their smart meter problems with you. Please place me on copy when this is done.

Sincerely,
Susan Brinchman
