February 4, 2016 (San Diego) -- Bidding for the County’s latest online public vehicle auction opens Monday, Feb. 8, so check out what’s available before these steals on wheels are going, going, gone.
Surplus vehicles include automobiles, trucks, vans, SUVs, trailers, a school bus and even an ambulance. The surplus government property comes from the County and other local agencies and many bids start at only $100.
Among the vehicles are a 2005 Toyota Prius Hybrid, family vans, Ford Taurus sedans, Ford Rangers and Ford Escapes.
If you’d like to check out the vehicles in person--kick the tires, so to speak--they’ll go on display from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 and 8 a.m. to noon Monday, Feb 15 at 369 Main Street, Ramona, CA, 92065.
