ROBBERY AT SDSU TRANSIT STATION

November 19, 2018 (San Diego) – San Diego State University campus police are investigating a robbery that occurred Sunday, November 18th at 5:21 p.m. at the SDSU MTS Transit Station located at 5200 Campanile Drive.  The suspects reportedly pushed the victim and then took a cell phone while exiting the trolley. The victim sustained minor injuries and detectives are following up on several leads. 

Suspect: A review of camera footage provided descriptions of five suspects: 

Suspect-1: Juvenile Black male, gray hoodie, black pants, white shoes

Suspect-2: Juvenile Black male, gray/red hoodie, gray or khaki pants

Suspect-3: Juvenile Black female, black hoodie, black pants, gray backpack

Suspect-4: Juvenile Black male, wearing a red supreme beanie

Suspect-5: Juvenile Black male, wearing dark hoodie, dark jeans

Prevention Tips: The University Police Department offers the following safety precautions to all community members. 

  • Contact the University Police Department immediately at 619-594-1991 if you see anything suspicious. Be sure to program this phone number into your phone.​
  • Attempt to use well-lit streets to avoid isolated areas, alleys, vacant lots, and construction sites. ​
  • Avoid flashing personal belongings, such as cell phones, while walking at night whenever possible. ​
