March 6, 2016 (San Diego) - Thanks to the return of the Gulls, hockey is growing in San Diego now more than ever.  One such example is the San Diego District Hockey League.

Launched in the fall of 2013, the San Diego District Hockey League (SDDHL) includes both ice and inline (roller) hockey for kids ages 11-15.  They've come a long way since then, with 14 teams in the ice hockey season and 22 in the roller hockey pre-season.

Recently, the U14 roller and ice hockey team won a tournament in each form of hockey.  In addition to their successes, the league offers a "Learn to Play" program where children of all ages borrow gear for six weeks and learn to play hockey.

For more information on the league, as well as how to sign your child up for a team, you can visit www.districthockey.com.
