March 11, 2019 (Flagstaff) -  Six San Diego State divers finished 3-meter competition at the NCAA Zone E Championships on Monday, highlighted by a 15th-place finish by freshman Ximena Lechuga Gonzalez in the 57-diver field.

Fresh off of becoming the first-ever freshman Mountain West Diver of the Meet at the Mountain West Championships, Lechuga Gonzalez moved up from a 16th-place standing, using a final-round 283.34 after recording a preliminary score of 276.76 to finish in 15th with a total of 560.10.

Also in action for the Aztecs was Marie Yacopino (43rd, 226.25), Lexi Letts (44th, 223.65), Emily Reed (46th, 221.30), Delaney Gallagher (52nd, 204.35), and Gina Cazares (56th, 166.10). 

The Aztecs will participate in 1-meter competition on Tuesday, March 12 and finishing the three-day event on the platform board on Wednesday, March 13.
