SDSU MEN'S SOCCER FALLS AT STANFORD

November 2, 2023 (Stanford) - The Aztec men’s soccer team (6-5-5, 0-5-3) fell at No. 19 Stanford (8-2-5, 2-1-5) 5-0 Thursday evening.

SDSU started the game off hot and had two excellent opportunities in the first three minutes. First Terence Okoeguale had a 1v1 with the goalkeeper that required a last-minute kick save and then Alexander Levengood had a shot bounce off the crossbar.

The Aztecs outshot Stanford 7-4 in the first 20 minutes, but the Cardinal adjusted and outshot the Aztecs 18-2 the rest of the way.

Stanford scored their first goal in the seventh minute and then added two more in a 70 second span in the 19^th and 20^th minute.

The Cardinal added two more in the second frame with goals in the 74^th and 78^th minute.

Goalkeeper Logan Erb played the first half and collected two saves while Djibri Doumbia played the second half and made three saves.
