September 23, 2016 (San Diego) - The SDSU men’s soccer team was back in action on a Friday night against the University of the Pacific.

Despite being ranked 11th and Pacific bring unranked, it was the Tigers who struck first in the 31st minute with a goal from sophomore Camden Riley to make the score 1-0 Tigers.  With 3:48 left in the first half, Julio Cervantes scored on a rebound to make the score 2-0 Tigers at the half.  They'd hold onto that lead in an uneventful second half to hand the Aztec men their first loss of the season.

The men continue their home stand with a Sunday night game against the University of San Diego on Sunday.  Game time is at 7 p.m.
