Israels started her week by totaling one goal, one assist, one steal and two ejections drawn in the Aztecs’ home game vs. No. 5 UC Irvine. The next night at Fresno Pacific, she tied her career high with five goals, and added two assists, a team-high four steals and tied for the team high with two field blocks to help SDSU improve to 2-0 in GCC play.

Less than 24 hours later, the Aztecs were back at it again, this time in Bakersfield at the Roadrunner Invitational. In the opener vs. Cal State East Bay, she posted her team-best seventh hat trick with three goals to go with a team-best three assists, one steal, one field block and two ejections drawn. Then in the final game of the weekend, she led San Diego State with two goals to log her team-best 14th multiple-goal outing and produced a team-best three steals and three field blocks vs. No. 11 Princeton.

Israels’ second weekly award of the season is her fifth overall and marks the first time she has earned the honor more than once in a single campaign.
