October 5, 2023 (San Diego) - The Mountain West released the women’s basketball conference schedule Friday. The Aztecs schedule is highlighted by two home games that will be broadcast on national television.

The Mountain West will once again utilize an 18-game format, nine games at home and nine on the road for each institution. SDSU will play every team twice except for Fresno State and Nevada.

The Aztecs begin the conference slate by hosting Colorado State on Dec. 30. SDSU tied with the Rams for third place last year and split the season series.

SDSU then heads to Colorado Springs to play at Air Force Jan. 3. The Aztecs and Falcons only played once last year with SDSU winning at home 60-51 in the regular season finale.

On Jan. 7, the Aztecs play Fresno State at home in a game that will be shown on CBS Sports Network.

SDSU then heads on a tough road trip with games at Wyoming Jan. 10 and Boise State Jan. 13. The Aztecs split their meetings with both schools a year ago.

The Aztecs will then be at home for three of the next four, beginning with UNLV, the defending champs, Jan. 17. SDSU then has their second nationally broadcast game Jan. 20 when they host San Jose State, who they swept last year. That contest will be shown on FS1.

After a Jan. 24 game at Utah State, SDSU returns to face Boise State for the second time in two weeks.

The Aztecs then have their first bye before playing three of their next four on the road. They play at Colorado State Feb. 3, then return home to play New Mexico Feb. 7, who they went 2-1 against last year.

SDSU then hits the road for games at San Jose State Feb. 10 and Nevada Feb. 14.

The Aztecs are then back in San Diego for games against Utah State Feb. 17 and Air Force Feb. 21.

After a bye, the Aztecs will finish their regular season with games at New Mexico (Feb. 28) and UNLV (March 2) before returning home to face Wyoming March 5 for senior night.

All home games not selected for national broadcast will air live on the Mountain West Network, available at TheMW.com and the MW App. Be sure to download the app, which is available on Android, IOS, Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, Roku and Android TV. For more information, visit TheMW.com.

The Aztecs are coming off a 23-win season where they had the best defense in the Mountain West and made the WNIT.
