April 11, 2015 (San Diego)--Seussical fun for the whole family. Based on "Horton Hears a Who," Horton Hatches The Egg," and "Miss Gertrude McFuzz." Horton the Who snd The Cat in the Hat transport us from The Jungle of Nool to Circus McGurkus. When Horton finds a speck of dust containing little people called the Whos, he must protect them from danger and guard an egg left in his care temporarily. Friendship, family, loyalty and community are all challenged before Horton triumphs.

The show is directed by Trixi Agiao, Arthur Huang, and Ramon Montes with Musical Direction by Michael Sokol.

Visionary Dance Studio is a San Diego based dance theatre company established in January 2009. A vision of Spencer John Powell to improve the community and it's company, through dance, theatre, and art.

The core values at Visionary are, culture and diversity, artistic expression, personal enrichment, and an open,team-playing environment.

A small community studio located at 7202A El Cajon Boulevard ,San Diego.The kind of place where neighborhood kids enrich their skills.. Though all are welcome. One big family helping each other to grow and learn,

A intimate venue  perfect for kids to experience the fun characters of Dr. Seuss. The place is small though and the seats are usually first come first choice, I recommend you arrive a bit early.

Visionary offers, ballet, tap, modern, musical theatre, jazz,  acting, and voice. A well rounded selection. They do mostly dance programs - which are open to the public-but a couple times a year they do a play. The last play they performed was "Gypsy." I was thoroughly entertained.

Let's have some fun, bring the young one. To meet the Cat in the Hat, that's that.
