SHERIFF SEEKS HELP TO ID MASKED ARMED ROBBERS IN LEMON GROVE

February 27, 2017 (Lemon Grove) – The Sheriff’s Department seeks public help to identify three masked suspects armed with a shotgun, bat and hammer. The three suspects robbed Santana’s Restaurant at 7633 Palm St. in Lemon Grove at 2:30 a.m. this morning.

At least two of the men are suspected in two similar robberies of taco shops in Spring Valley and Lemon Grove over the past two weeks.

After forcing the employee at Santana’s to open the cash registers, the suspects took cash and fled on foot toward Cypress Street. In all three cases, similar weapons were used.
