January 27, 2015 (Lemon Grove) Community outreach is a priority of the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. Members of the community should feel comfortable bringing problems related to safety and security as well as deputy-community relations to his staff, the Sheriff says.

The Lemon Grove Sheriff’s Substation is holding a Coffee with the Community event on Tuesday, February 3rd from 8 to 10 a.m. at Anna’s Family Restaurant in the community room, 8099 Broadway in Lemon Grove.

Coffee with the Community gives the public a chance to chat with the Station's Command Staff, Crime Prevention Specialist and Senior Volunteer Patrol members in a casual setting to exchange ideas and concerns over a free cup of coffee, heling to make a positive difference in your community.
