SHOTS FIRED ON HIGHWAY 94

March 29, 2012 (Lemon Grove) – Police seek information on the occupants of a dark sedan that pulled up next to a Ford Five Hundred near Massachusetts early this morning.  The driver of the Ford and a passenger heard several shots and two bullet holes were found in the driver’s side of the vehicle. No one was injured. 

The driver dropped off his passenger and drove to his home in Clairemont before calling police around 3:40 a.m.  Victims could not give a detailed description of the vehicle or its occupants.

According to ECM News partner 10 news, one of the men in the Ford works as a bouncer at a Chula Vista club. 

California Highway Patrol offers ran traffic breaks to search for evidence and found two shell casings and some broken glass.  Authorities have not yet disclosed whether they believe the shooting to be targeted or random.
