February 3, 2016 (Borrego Springs) - Soroptimist International of Borrego Springs is hosting the first Artists’ Open Studio Tour on Sunday, February 21, 2016. The event will be held from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, with a reception to follow at the Borrego Art Institute from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.
This self-guided Tour will visit the open studios of some of the most talented artists in the Borrego Springs area. Art will be displayed in a variety of media and styles. All artists will be on hand to show their work and explain their creative techniques. Some artists will have live demonstrations and works in progress so you can see the art that’s being created from conception to completion.
Tickets are $20.00, and include a descriptive brochure and map. Tickets may be purchased at borego.wix.com/soroptimist or at the following Borrego Springs locations: Tumbleweed, The Desert Robin, or the Fudge Factory. Tickets purchased on-line may be picked up at any of these locations as well.
