STATE ROUTE 78 IN RAMONA REOPENS TO ONE-WAY TRAFFIC

June 15, 2017 (San Diego) - Caltrans construction crews reopened State Route 78 (SR-78) to one-way traffic control between Indian Oaks Road and Weekend Villa Road shortly after 10 this morning.  One-way traffic control will remain in place until 3 this afternoon.

Work to stabilize the down slope on the north side of the highway will continue weekdays with one-way traffic control in effect from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. beginning Monday, June 19.

The highway had been closed to traffic in both directions since Friday in order to accommodate the large equipment required to do the work.  Work on the slope is expected to be completed by the end of June.

Caltrans reminds drivers to Be Work Zone Alert and to slow when nearing highway work zones.
