December 29, 2011 (Jamul) -- Firefighters are at the scene of a one-alarm structure at Skyline Truck Trail and Lawson Valley Road. Traffic is blocked in both directions at the 15000 block of Skyline Truck Trail at Lawson Valley Road.
Reader Kathie Wellington says the home is a "total loss" but that firefighters have thus far contained the blaze to the structure.
IPN reported around 9:25 that firefighters report a water problem at the scene. The fire is putting up a large header of smoke visible across much of the region.
