SUSPECT SHOT, KILLED BY MOTORIST IN EL CAJON

March 28, 2019 (El Cajon) – An off-duty security guard interrupted a possible vehicle burglary or carjacking this morning in the 1300 block of East Main Street. The vehicle’s owner became involved and during the altercation, “the vehicle owner fired a handgun, striking and killing the suspect,” says Lt. Royal Bates with the El Cajon Police Department.

ECPD responded to a report of shots fired at 9:23 a.m.  The investigation is still in the early stages.
