July 24, 2016 (El Cajon) -- Toyota and Honda of El Cajon and Wells Fargo Dealer Services presented a $22,700 donation to the YMCA of San Diego County. The donation was made in appreciation of Toyota and Honda of El Cajon’s ongoing community support efforts. The funds will help the YMCA of San Diego’s mission of strengthening its community through offering programs that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.

I am extremely grateful for the good childhood experiences I enjoyed growing up,” said Greg Kaminsky, president of Toyota of El Cajon and vice president of Honda of El Cajon. “My hope is to help support great neighborhood programs that touch and benefit as many kids as possible in ways that help them thrive, have fun, and stay safe. We’re thrilled to work with Wells Fargo Dealer Services to provide this additional support.”

For almost 25 years, Kaminsky and his family have been serving the surrounding communities of San Diego County as dealership owners of Toyota and Honda of El Cajon. Kaminsky has served as a Corporate Board Member of the YMCA of San Diego County since 2009. Kaminsky and his family have been very appreciative of the work of the seventeen area YMCA locations and the services they provide to many low-income families and children in the San Diego community.

“Greg Kaminsky has been a committed Board Member of the YMCA of San Diego County for the past several years,” said Shelly McTighe-Rippengale, senior vice-president and chief development officer for the YMCA of San Diego. “The YMCA of San Diego County is stronger and better-positioned to meet the needs of our community because of the dedicated support of volunteers like Mr. Kaminsky.”

“We share Toyota and Honda of El Cajon’s commitment to giving back to the communities we serve,” said Nick Hungerford, San Diego Regional Business Center manager for Wells Fargo Dealer Services.  “As part of our local market strategy – we appreciate opportunities where we can help organizations that do so much for the communities we serve – this donation is a tangible way we recognize Toyota and Honda of El Cajon and their strong community support of San Diego.”
