UNDERCOVER OPERATION NAILS 13 FOR PROSTITUTION

October 30, 2010 (El Cajon) -- The El Cajon Police Department conducted an undercover operation Thursday targeting men soliciting prostitution acts from women on the streets of El Cajon. The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department assisted with the operation. A total of 13 individuals were arrested during the five-hour operation.

 

Upon conviction of prostitution related charges, arrestees may be placed on geographic probation which prohibits them from certain activities in specified areas of El Cajon. Members of the public are encouraged to go to the El Cajon Police Department’s website, www.elcajonpolice.org, to view photographs of individuals currently on geographic probation.

 

The El Cajon Police Department routinely conducts prostitution related operations targeting pimps, prostitutes and their customers.
