By Miriam RafteryMay 24, 2020 (El Cajon) – The body of a man who appeared homeless, according to California Highway Patrol, was found Wednesday afternoon alongside southbound state route 67, just north of the Interstate 8 interchange in El Cajon.
According to the CHP, it was unclear whether the man was struck by a vehicle or died of other causes. The county’s medical examiner will determine cause of death and is working to identify the deceased.
