Casa de Pico, Grossmont Center (La Mesa)
Casa de Pico’s special Valentine’s Day menu includes a 17.5 ounce House Margarita, a delicious Surf & Turf entrée featuring 4-ounce portions of both steak and salmon, served with arroz verde and sautéed vegetables in achiote sauce, plus a Chocolate Lava Cake that’s almost too good to share! Giardino Neighborhood Cucina (Lemon Grove)
The charming and cozy Italian restaurant is the perfect place to head on Valentine’s Day Weekend. Chef Marco Provino is offering an a la carte dinner menu in addition to a 3-course menu for $40. The preset menu features dishes such as Lobster Bisque, Salmon San Remo and Short Rib. End the meal with a Heart Shaped Chocolate Cake. The Valentine’s Day menu will be available from Feb. 14-16.

Di Giorgio’s at Ram’s Hill Golf Club (Borrego Springs)
Award-winning chief Jeremy Manley is offering a prixe fixe menu at Di Giorgio’s at Ram’s Hill on Valentine’s Day for $63 per person. Start with choice of appetizers (Oysters Rockefeller, asparagus, wild mushroom truffle soup, or arugula salad), followed by entrée options including Muscovy duck, Faroe Island salmon, flat iron steak, or sweet potato ravioli. Choose from Triple chocolate cheese cake or apple tart for a sweet ending to your feast. Chef Manley recently won both the Critics Award and People’s Choice award at Taste of Borrego.

San Pasqual Winery tasting room (La Mesa)
The San Pasqual Winery tasting room in La Mesa will host a Valentine’s truffle and wine pairing on Feb. 14 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Feb. 15 from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Chocolates from Andrea’s Truffles will be paired with the locally-produced wines. Cost is $25 per person + tax in advance or $30 day of event, space permitting. Wine club members get a $5 discount. RSVP Feb. 14th. RSVP Feb. 15th.
