October 21, 2010 (Alpine) – Viejas Outlet Center is once again offering a safe alternative to traditional trick-or-treating.  Stores will welcome little ghosts, goblins and parents to participate in this free family event, which runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 31.

“More and more parents seem to be looking for a safer Halloween experience for their children, and the Outlet Center offers the perfect environment,” said Viejas Outlet Center General Manager Peter Cortese. “We have lots of great stores and restaurants that interest the whole family, and they will be handing out treats for the kids. We also have miles of beautiful, well-lighted and landscaped walkways across the entire property, so it’s a perfect setting.”  Guests can alsoshop and save up to 70% on already low prices on more than 50 of America’s favorite brand names, he added.

Located at 5005 Willows Road in Alpine,  Viejas Outlet Center features 255,000 square feet of shopping space amid the natural beauty of the surrounding environment, with meandering paths of lush landscaping and plant life, natural water features and massive rock formations.
