April 19, 2015 (Ramona) –Vineyard Grant James in Ramona announces a series of events. Whether your tastes run to a winemakers’ dinner to a mother’s day weekend with flowers and chocolates for Mom, you’ll find plenty to savor. The winery also offers a yoga and writing regreat, gourmet foodie potluck, a fundraiser for Ramona high school and a summer of sangria kick-off at the winery, as well as several events off-site.  In addition, Grant James has live music every Sunday afternoon.

Music on Sundays - On Sunday afternoons savor music played by the Acoustic Bandits. A trio of young men who play a lively and energetic style of contemporary Flamenco inspired music. 

Wine Tasting & Craft Class 4/22 - The Creative Vine will be offering an art class (Mother's & Father's Day cards), wine tasting and a catered dinner at 5:30pm. The cost is $42/wine club members and $47/non-members.

 Winemaker's Dinner 4/23 – Vineyard Grant James will be presenting our Phoenix & Delphinus wines at a Winemaker's Dinner at D'Carlos at 1347 Main Street in Ramona from 5-8pm. 

 RHS Fundraiser 4/24 & 4/25 - Ramona High School will soon be graduating their next class of seniors in June and the push is on to help them fund their Grad Night and Senior Breakfast. A portion of the net proceeds from the weekend sales will be donated to the class of 2015 for graduation related events.

 Gourmet Foodie Potluck 4/25- Come taste how delicious wine can be with your favorite dish. Cook your "best dish" and then share it with the other gourmands. Grant James will round out the evening by singing along to Alex the Music Man's karaoke machine. Cost is free.

 Mother's Day Weekend 5/9 & 5/10 – The winery will be celebrating, and showing gratitude to every woman who cares for others with flowers and chocolates.

Yoga & Writing Retreat - 5/16 Yoga and meditation will be used as lead-ins for self-explorations writing courses. $110 members/$120 non-members. Cost includes yoga sessions, writing classes, bistro box lunch and wine tasting. 8am to 4pm.

Grape Days 5/20 - The RVVA is presenting a full day of educational classes about grape growing and wine making. Cost is $80. The event will be held at the San Vicente Golf Resort. Registration: http://www.hatfieldcreekvineyards.com/news/grape-days

European River Cruise Presentation 5/22 - AMA Waterways is partnering with the Grant James to offer a river cruise through Europe in June of 2016. The cruise will stop at famous vineyards and wineries along the Danube River.

Summer of Sangria Kick Off 5/22-5/25  The winery will be open all weekend including Memorial Day so come by and vote for your favorite Sangria concoction.

Two Year Anniversary Party 6/7 & 6/8 Help celebrate the second anniversary of the opening of the tasting room. There will have cake & ice cream for everyone.

Winemaker's Dinner 6/25- Vineyard Grant James will be bringing a little bit of Ramona to San Diego when Chef Erin Sealy prepares a wine pairing dinner at the Proprietor's Reserve. Plein Air 6/13  Learn to capture the vibrancy and beauty of the vineyard on canvas. Resident artist Nora Read will be offering oil painting classes out in the vineyard followed by a wine tasting for all class members.

Progressive Chef Pairing 6/20 Popular local area chefs will be at several wineries throughout the day presenting their gourmet creations with wine that has been selected to show off their culinary expertise.
