July 19, 2019 (La Mesa) – Winners of the 2019 HeART of Mt. Helix juried art show are on display at Nainsook Framing + Art in La Mesa now through August 28. These fine art and photography works feature the people, places and events of Mt. Helix.  Twenty percent of art sales will benefit the Mt. Helix Park Foundation.

1st place: “Mountain Path” acrylic by Linda Morton
2nd place + People’s Choice award: “December Lights” watercolor by Elaine Harvey
3rd place: “They Named a mountain After Us” collage by Bianca Romani
Honorable mentions: “Cross Among the Clouds,” watercolor by Jami Wright
Honorable Mention "Road to the Cross" acrylic by Sharon Thomas
