WOMAN FOUND SHOT IN HEAD; POLICE SEEK PUBLIC HELP TO SOLVE CRIME

July 25, 2010 (San Diego) – Shortly after 4 a.m. yesterday, San Diego Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3700 block of Ocean View Boulevard, several blocks east of I-15. They found a 43-year-old black woman lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to her head. Witnesses told police they saw the woman talking to at least two black males in dark four-door sedan.

 

The victim was transported to a hospital but is not expected to survive her injuries.
Her identity has not been released pending notification of relatives. The shooters were last seen driving south on 37th Street.

 

The victim’s identity will not be released until her next of kin is notified.
 

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the San Diego Police Department at 531-2000.
