July 18, 2013 (Santee) – Xtreme Diamond Sports (XDS) returns to San Diego County for the Xtreme Diamond Sports World Series (July 22-27), the premier youth baseball tournament serving ages 8-18 years across five venues. This year, XDS will welcome teams from all over the western United States and the South Pacific — including six teams from Hawaii and one from Guam.  The event will be held at Sportsplex USA Santee located at 9951 Riverwalk Drive, Santee CA 92071.

In the past, XDS has offered many opportunities for entertainment and retail, which will only be expanded this year due to the teaming up with the 2013 National Baseball & Softball Expo (NBSE). This time around families will enjoy NBSE in its entirety during the XDS World Series Opening Ceremonies (July 22.) This year’s NBSE will run July 21-22 at Sportsplex USA in Santee. NBSE offers attendees access to more than 60 baseball and softball related booths, innovative products, celebrity appearances, and more.

The XDS World Series Opening Ceremonies will be more impressive than ever with a parade of participating teams, live-sung national anthem, coordinated flyover, and ceremonial first pitches by multiple greats including David James, Director of Major League Baseball’s "RBI: Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities" program.
