October 28, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State fell in disappointing fashion, dropping a 2-1 overtime decision to New Mexico on Senior Night. The Aztecs, who dominated in every facet of the game except the one column that counts, fell to 8-7-3 overall and 6-2-3 in the Mountain West. The Lobos, meanwhile, finished their season at 9-7-3 (5-5-1 MW).

October 24, 2016 (San Diego) - San Diego State is one of six teams set to compete at next week’s Mountain West Women’s Soccer Championship at SDSU Sports Deck. The tournament will commence on Nov. 1 with the quarterfinal round and will be followed by semifinal games on Nov. 3. The title game is slated for Nov. 5.

October 23, 2016 (Laramie, Wy.) - San Diego State completed its trip to the Front Range with a double-overtime scoreless draw at Wyoming on a windy Sunday afternoon in Laramie. The Aztecs, who are unbeaten in six straight, return to America’s Finest City with an 8-6-3 record (6-1-3 Mountain West). The Cowgirls, meanwhile, watched their record move to 9-7-2 (5-4-1 MW).

October 21, 2016 (Fort Collins, Colo.) - San Diego State women’s soccer earned a 2-1 victory at Colorado State on Friday afternoon. The win was the Aztecs’ fourth straight and moved them to 8-6-2 overall and 6-1-2 in the Mountain West. The Rams, meanwhile, fell to 3-12-2 (1-7-1 MW).

October 17, 2016 (Colorado Springs, Colo.) - San Diego State women’s soccer student-athletes Aliyah Utush and Victoria Barba were named the Mountain West Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively. It marks the second and third time this season that an Aztec has been recognized by the league.
