May 13, 2016 (Milwaukee) - The Padres looked to continue yesterday’s success against Milwaukee.  Newbie Christian Friedrich got the start for the Padres and Junior Gerra for the Brewers.

The Brewers sought to do better.  In the first, Chris Carter hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Domingo Santana and the Brewers took a 1-0 lead.  That’s all they needed to beat the Friars.

In transaction news, Andrew Cashner has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring retroactive to May 9th.  The Padres have also designated Jabari Blash for assignment.  Game three is at 4:10 p.m. tomorrow.  Luis Perdomo will get his first major league start for the Padres.
