The Quantum Love Gene, by Raymond J. Pilon (Choice MaKer Productions, Victoria, BC, Canada, 2009, 136 pages).

Book Review by Dennis Moore

December 15, 2012 (San Diego)--The Quantum Love Gene by Raymond J. Pilon has been described as possibly a hotter product than Avatar, and after reading this spellbinding fantasy science fiction novel, I am inclined to agree. The book is based on dreams, which the author’s wife describes as “automatic handwriting.” It incorporates many of the aspects of Avatar, as well as some of those in Ray Bradbury’s Martian Chronicles.

The premise of Pilon’s book is that we are all “Spirit Beings” and that we evolved from an ancient alien civilization called the Pleiadians that actually traveled to earth and inhabited our planet some 26,000 years ago. Pilon is a master story-teller in how he weaves together the mysteries of Stonehenge, the pyramids, the most intriguing crop circles, and many other unexplainable structures.

The author gives seemingly plausible explanations for all of this in his fantasy science fiction, when he states, “The Pleiadians, our ancient alien ancestors, of course, built these gigantic structures. They built these gigantic structures by using their super powers of shape shifting, telekinesis, lifting and transporting objects by thought.” Growing up as a science fiction buff, and a devotee of Robert A. Heinlein, often called the “dean of science fiction writers,” all of this sounds plausible to me.

Robert A. Heinlein, Isaac Asimov and Arthur C. Clarke are known as the “Big Three” of science fiction. They would be proud of this book.

The theme and tone of this fantasy science fiction novel is actually set in the author’s note at the beginning of the book, as he states, “What I do know is that while living in Calhuita, Costa Rica, in the spring of 2009, I woke up one morning at about 5:30 a.m., grabbed a cup of coffee, six small wild bananas and sat down at a small table outside. I opened a clip board with writing paper and I picked up my pen. WOW! Mountains of thoughts came pouring out of me as I began to recollect experiences from my dreams the night before. It’s funny how this happened. When I sat there to write nothing came to me. When I picked up my pen my dreams came back like nothing I had ever experienced before. Thoughts and words came to me that I had never heard before – words like ‘Pleiades and Pleiadians.’ I could not really hear any voices as in a voice outside of my head. I experienced a flood of memories from the dreams of just a few hours ago as the dreams became audible in my head. I’m almost certain that a Pleiadian character in my book named Angelica was speaking to me in my dream.”

According to those dreams, the Pleiadians are multi-dimensional beings, our ancesters, possessing super powers such as shape shifting, telepathy, telekinesis, flying and many more skills that we enjoy today.

The author feels it important to say that the focus in these dreams was on the incredible wonderful  fifth dimensional reality – a reality that is ruled by love and made possible by universal laws. In his story he describes how we move through the black hole at the time of alignment of the Earth, the sun and the star cluster Pleiades and the center of our galaxy. He makes historical note that a planet called Kepler-22b,  original home of the Pleiadians, was actually discovered by the Kepler satellite November 2011, two years AFTER Pilon wrote this book. Thus, the scientific discovery seems to give some validation to his dreams.

Pilon is actually a retired minister from the International Centers for Spiritual Living. He has indicated to me that his motivation for writing this book “comes from his commitment to deliver Angelica’s message to the people of Earth and thus awaken the dormant Quantum Love Gene from a 10,000 year sleep.”

The central character in this fantasy science fiction is a David Chartrand, a child prodigy and young genius, chosen by the Pleiadians to be a messenger of impending doom to Earth--the black hole with its whirling disc at its core, approaching the middle of our Milky Way galaxy.

But the plot goes much beyond this outside threat, as this book involves sinister forces on Earth, the ILLUMINATI, determined to rein in David and gain control of the inhabitants of this planet and its resources. The author being a former minister underscores the fact that Pilon has created a strand of spirituality and love throughout this book, culminating at the end with all mankind putting behind it the negative energy that once defined us and our planet.

An intriguing aspect of this book is that of Sandy Travers and Myra, the Amazing Dolphin. Sandy is a PhD graduate in Marine biology, working at the Marine biology laboratory. She has a very special relationship with dolphins, in that she is able to communicate telepathically; however, this has never been revealed to anyone. It seems that everyone in this book can speak telepathically to some degree or another. The interaction between Sandy and the dolphins, a central theme in the overall story, reminds me of one of the Star Trek movies where whales factor into the salvation of civilization on Earth.

It is interesting how Pilon weaves current events into this thought-provoking fantasy science fiction novel, such as in “Dream #25,” when Sara reveals her telepathic powers, stating, “I am telepathic in both sound and sight. I can and am listening to whomever I want to anywhere on your planet.  Please understand that it is not our intention to snoop in anyone’s private lives. We are only interested in intelligence that has to do with the activity of the Illuminati. NO lead or other substance can hinder my telepathic ability. I will rebroadcast sound and image through your televisions with live conversations taking place; for example, right now in Washington, DC, a member of the Joint Chief of Staff, John Candu and Victor Boutter (the biggest arms dealer in the world) are engaging in a conversation.”

Some may not know, but there is in all actuality a “Victor Bout,” who was the biggest arms dealer in the world, whom I referenced in an earlier review of Shadow Masters by Daniel Estulin, and who was recently sentenced to prison for arms dealing. Further, in this brilliantly conceived book by Pilon, he has the two most powerful leaders in the world, Mr. Hu Jintoa of China and President Barack Obama of the United States, embracing each other in a hug that becomes contagious. The author sums up this interaction between once bitter rivals, by stating, “Five billion souls here have just experienced the awakening of the Quantum LOVE Gene.”

Quantum Love Gene is an entertaining fantasy science fiction novel, with many twists and turns, and a surprising ending, that I highly recommend. Yes, I can see it as a movie!

"Quantum Love Gene" as a Movie

As I suggested at the end of my review, I have just gotten word that the "Quantum Love Gene" is being considered for a movie.

"The Quantum Love Gene" - Kepler 62e & Kepler 62f

It is ironic that just yesterday it was reported by Gary Robbins in the San Diego U-T that scientists have found two planets that are more like Earth in size and temperature than anything that's ever been seen, a discovery made with help from atronomers at San Diego State University. These planets, Kepler-62e and Kepler-62f, orbit in their star's habitable zone, where liquid water would exist in an Earthlike atmosphere. Raymond J. Pilon speaks of a Kepler-22b in his book, and I am sure that this would be a revelation to him.

Kepler-37b Planet discovery lends credence to Quantum Love Gene

Astronomers searching for planets outside our solar system have discovered the tiniest one yet - one that is about the size of our moon, according to an Associated Press story by Alicia Chang that was printed in the February 21, 2013 U-T San Diego Newspaper. But hunters for life in the universe will need to poke elsewhere. The new world orbits too close to its sun-like star and is oo sizzling to support life. Its surface temperature is an estimated 700 degrees Fahrenheit. It also lacks an atmosphere and water on its rocky surface. University of California, Berkeley astronomer Geoff Marcy, one of the founding fathers of the planet-hunting field, called the latest find "absolutely mind-boggling." "This new discovery raises the specter that the universe is jampacked, like jelly beans in a jar, with planets even smaller than Earth," said Marcy, who had no role in the new research. It's been nearly two decades since the first planet was found outside our solar system. Since then, there's been an explosion of discoveries, accelerated by NASA's Kepler telescope launched in 2009 to search for a twin Eath. Co-incidentally, the author of The Quantum Love Gene, Raymond Pilon, references a planet called Kepler-22b in his book, the original home of the Pleiadians. In this recent discovery, a small planet known as Kepler-37b was named. The tiny planet was detected by Kepler, which simultaneously tracks more than 150,000 stars for slight dips in brightness - a sign of a planet passing in front of the star. The planet - known as Kepler-37b - orbits a star 210 light years away in the constellation Lyra. It's one of three known planets in that solar system. Perhaps the author Pilon is actually on to something!

Discoverer Thomas Barclay of the NASA Ames Research Center in Northern California was so excited when he spied the moon-sized planet that for days, he said he recited the "Star Wars" movie line: "That's no moon." It took more than a year and an international team to confirm it was a planet. The discovery is detailed in Thursday's issue of the journal nature. Scientists are looking for an Earth-size planet that is in the s0-called Goldilocks zone - that sweet spot not too cold where water, essential for life, could exist on the surface.

So far, 861 planets have been spotted and only recently have scientists been able to detect planets similar in size to Earth or smaller. The Quantum Love Gene opens up a whole new discussion about the possibilities of life on other planets.

"The Quantum Love Gene" The Movie

With the addition of the movie trailer to the review, that should bring Raymond Pilon's masterful book that much closer to being seen as a movie. I, for one, cannot wait.

Good review

Sounds like an intriguing book. I've heard Costa Rica can be a magical place. Good review.

Subject: A Cliff Hanging Story

When I read The QUANTUM LOVE GENE, I can’t put it down.  Raymond, the author, masterfully builds suspense leading me to the “edge of the cliff” wondering if we will survive the approaching Black Hole or perish.  I love Raymond’s wild imagination, the role of the Dolphins and the life-saving message sent by our ancestors, The Pleiadians.  Go to the picture of the front cover with the dolphin, click on “purchase your book” and find out for yourself.  You will be happy you did so!
