November 16, 2016 (Descanso) — Sharon Penny juxtaposed trees in front of the Super Moon over Descanso Monday night. She notes, “I didn’t have cool cityscapes” so opted for a natural setting in the foreground. The Super Moon was the biggest and brightest moon since 1948, the last time the moon’s orbit brought it this close to Earth.

I prefer your view. I watched the moon rise between houses with utility wires in the way.
