May 11, 2018 (San Diego) – The California Republican Party ejected Patrick Little from its state convention in San Diego last weekend, denouncing the candidate’s neo-Nazi views.   Ballots mailed this week list Little as a Republican “civil rights” advocate, but in fact he advocates anti-Semitic views and posted a video of himself spitting on and stomping the Israeli flag. Many of his videos have been removed off Facebook as offensive hate speech.

“There's no room for that kind of hate speech that that man uses," Cynthia Bryant, executive director of the Calif. Republican Party, told the Los Angeles Times.

Little alarmed many after a recent poll showed him in second place after Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), the incumbent.

The state GOP made no endorsement in the Senate race, nor in the Governor’s race. The top two candidates in each statewide race will advance to the November election.

There are 32 candidates on the ballot running for U.S. Senator in California. View the list here:  https://www.californiachoices.org/all-senatorial-candidates-2018-06

State Senator Kevin De Leon,a Democrat, is running a vigorous race against Feinstein, leading the California Democratic Party to also withhold endorsing either candidate in the race.

The top two candidates in each statewide race will advance to the November election.

Senator Feinstein has amassed over $9 million for her reelection campaign, far outpacing De Leon, who had around $360,000 as of the end of the last reporting period in March.  None of the Republican contenders had raised any significant funds, making it likely that California’s November run-off election will have only Democrats on the ballot in the U.S. Senate race.

More on the neo-Nazi in the Senate race

He polls second, but still only at 18% due to so many candidates in the race. I'm sure many who voiced support don't know of his views. He lists himself as a "civil rights" supporter on the ballot (but only white people's civil rights count, apaprently).  Some people polled may not have been familiar with any of the Republicans and just picked one based on party affiliation.  But the fact that he has any following at all is disturbing.

This situation is very much like 1980, when Ku Klux Klan leader Tom Metzger managed to win a Democratic primary race for Congress.  Democratic State Senator Bob Wilson came out and endorsed the Republican in the race, Claire Burgener, and some other Democrats followed.  Metzger was thrown out of the state Democratic convention, too, though on a technicality -- some filing deadline he had missed. But the Dems didn't want him speaking on the floor, jsut as the Republicans didn't want Little representing their party. I wonder if he manages to get into the top-two runoff, will any Reps endorse Senator Feinstein, a Dem, or the other prominent Democrat if he beats Feinstein, to be sure that a neo-Nazi calling himself a Republican doesn't win?

It is reassuring to many that in California, both parties have stood up against Nazis and KKK racists seeking to win public office. Now will more will start to speak out about other acts of racism and hate speech that have been on the rise?

THE EVOLUTION ON HUMANS

Is this the sickness we've evolved into? People who spend so much time and energy hating others are truly depraved. Who but another racist would vote for this guy anyway? Do the numbers reflect what the many voters really think like in an anonymous fashion or otherwise? This saddens me.

Hidden Hate

Both sides of the blade cut the same. If it's not Snowflakes it's the far Right or the Far Left...Both make me want to Vomit! So I guess the Vomit Party mite have a say down the road? :) Funny
