JACK-IN-THE-BOX ROBBED AT GUNPOINT IN LEMON GROVE; SUSPECT FLED IN CREAM SEDAN

December 6, 2018 (Lemon Grove) — A man jumped over the county of a Jack-in-the-Box at 7979 Broadway Avenue in Lemon Grove shortly after 2 p.m. yesterday, thenpointed a black pistol at customers and employees, demanding cash.

 

The suspect is described ablack, about 6 ft. 2 in heightwith medium to heavy build, wearing a baseball cap, red flannel shirt, grey hooded sweatshirt with hood pulled up, black gloves, white pants, and a white bandana covering his face.

 

The suspect took money from the cash drawer and fled from the business, says Sergeant Jacob Klepach, adding that the suspect got away in a cream-colored sedan with tinted back windows. The vehicle was last seen traveling southbound on Lemon Grove Avenue.

Get it under control!

Sheriffs office needs to step up their patrols in this area. There has been more gun related events in Lemon Grove in the past month than there has been in the past. Oddly enough they have mostly been during the day too, which really shows how the criminals aren't worried about the police at all. A guy was shot at a ATM a week or so ago, the ATM was basically across the street from the Sheriffs office.....
