Sand Mine Developer Cancelled Presentation for 2/12/19!

The Cottonwood Sand Mine developer, EnviroMine, cancelled the presentation at Jamul-Dulzura's Community Planning Group Meeting for 2/12/19. Notice was emailed, posted on social media, and updated on the stopcottonwoodsandmine.com website however channel 7 and channel 10 news announced, today, that the presentation would be occurring. It will not - the developer wants to wait until the County puts out the Scoping Letter before they provide any future community presentations.

Sand mining

As long as all Supervisors can vote on matters "outside" their district; we will loose to the sand miners. El Monte Valley Sand Mining has majority opposition to the "County" notification process, by "property owners" within the Sphere of Influence, yet the Supervisors will go against us, as well as Cottonwood; in favor of money and power. If only the Supervisor for the project and district could vote on it, we could hold them accountable as "Representative", one and only; of their constituents.
